Inventor and patent holder: Yazan Barakat

Ephemeral meeting intelligence

Conventional meeting intelligence stores the conversation, then promises to lock it down. This invention removes the stored artifact from the architecture entirely.

Overview

Yazan Barakat is the inventor and patent holder for ephemeral meeting intelligence processing utilizing randomized deletion mechanisms. The invention addresses a structural weakness in conventional meeting intelligence platforms: they derive value from recordings, transcripts and indexes that must be stored, secured and eventually deleted by policy. The patented approach removes the stored artifact from the architecture entirely, so privacy is enforced by the system rather than promised by the operator.

Four primitives

The mechanism

  1. 01

    Volatile processing window

Meeting audio and derived text are processed entirely in volatile memory, with no durable transcript written at any stage of the pipeline.

  2. 02

    Fragment below a semantic span

The working set is split into units smaller than meaning, so no surviving piece is a reconstructable thought.

  3. 03

    Randomized deletion

Working-set fragments are evicted on non-deterministic, per-fragment intervals, so the surviving state at any instant never forms a coherent slice.

  4. 04

    Hard retention ceiling

Every fragment is guaranteed destroyed before the processing window closes, making retention structurally impossible rather than procedurally discouraged.

Zero-data-retention

When no persistent copy of a conversation exists, entire categories of enterprise risk fall away: retention scheduling, subject access handling, and breach exposure modelling no longer apply to the processing tier. This mechanism is the foundation of the zero-data-retention architecture Bare AI ships today.
